Tying steps

  1. Slot the tungsten bead with slot facing down then take 5-6 wraps of lead wire and seat against bead
  2. Start red thread behind lead and tie in 4-5 CDL fibers as tail
  3. Position copper wire tip in bead slot and wrap thread back to tail tie-in to secure
  4. Tie in 6-8 muskrat-gray pheasant tail fibers at tail tie-in point
  5. Wrap pheasant tail forward to bead then counter-wrap copper rib in 4-5 evenly spaced turns
  6. Apply small amount of UV shrimp pink Ice Dub and wrap two tight turns as hot spot collar then whip finish
